|About Clan MacLeod USA
Please sign in to see more.
This website has been built with data that has been contributed to the Clan MacLeod USA or
gathered from other existing sources. We will continue to update it as new information becomes
available. There are undoubtedly duplicate names and incorrect data such as birth and death
dates or family members, but we are working hard to correct these as quickly as possible.
Request your help in correcting any of the information that is in this database. I especially
thank those who have helped in the past. We want to get this as accurate as possible.
Where and when possible, the information sent to us will be sourced and the sources documented,
so, if you have sources to provide it will more quickly and greatly improve the site. The site
was designed for the Clan members and they are being provided the code to give them access to
all the information available. If you are not yet a member of Clan MacLeod USA, we recommend
you consider joining and helping us make this database that much better.
Please send comments, additions, or corrections to this site's webmaster. If you have problems
accessing the data, also let us know so that we can help you. The newest access code will be
provided in the upcoming Clan MacLeod Newsletter. If you have any problems accessing the data,
please let me know. If you have a problem finding the password drop me a note and I will provide
it to you.
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.
In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
